The Final Fantasy VII The First Solider storyline continues with Chapter 7 “The Boy and the Hero” and Chapter 8 “The Hero Sephiroth” following a May 15 update to Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis. The update is expected to go live at 7:00 p.m. PDT on mobile devices and Steam.
The Final Fantasy VII First Soldier storyline serves as an origin story for the infamous silver-haired, Masamune-wielding villain. It chronicles the events of teenage Sephiroth’s first mission as he leads a survey team of three other SOLDIERs through the Rhadore region in search of potential mako reactor sites. Based on today’s announcement, the next two chapters should bring us much closer to conventional perceptions of Sephiroth leading up to the events of Final Fantasy VII.
