Final Fantasy voice actors are taking over Otakon 2024

Otakon 2024 in Washington DC is happening August 2-4 and this year's lineup of special guests should make attending a no-brainer for ardent Final Fantasy fans.

Otakon is an annual convention that celebrates all things Asian pop culture. This includes anime, manga, movies, music, video games, and more. Final Fantasy being an intellectual property of Square Enix, a Japanese video game publishing and development company, means the iconic series fits right in. Currently, 10 voice actors involved in various Final Fantasy franchises are confirmed to be participating in this year’s DC Otakon and here they are.

Top row: Ben Starr (Clive) and Nina Yndis (Benedikta) from Final Fantasy XVI
Bottom row: Peter Bramhill (Thancred), Colin Ryan (Alphinaud), and Bethan Walker (Alisaie) from Final Fantasy XIV.
Top row: John Bentley (Barret) and Max Mittelman (Red XIII) from Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
Bottom row: Britt Baron (Tifa), Suzie Yeung (Yuffie), and Briana White (Aerith) from Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.

Final Fantasy stars like Briana White and Ben Starr have commemorated the announcements with special videos that can be viewed on Otakon’s official X (formally Twitter) page. And there’s still time for even more Final Fantasy talent to be announced, so follow Otakon’s socials for immediate news and we’ll also be sure to keep you updated.

But if waiting isn’t your thing and you’re ready to commit, pre-registration for the convention is open now on the Otakon website.
