Final Fantasy XIV is getting 4 new North American worlds before Dawntrail

Less than a month away from the release of Dawntrail and the Final Fantasy XIV team is still working hard to safeguard players from the long login queues that have plagued previous expansion launches. Last month, we got word of a new Logical Data Center and three new worlds heading to the European Data Center. Today, the Final Fantasy XIV team has announced similar support for North America with four new worlds arriving in the Dynamis Data Center on June 11.

These are the new worlds joining the four existing worlds in the Dynamis Data Center.

Of course, creating new worlds will only help with login congestion at launch if players choose to populate it. At the time of writing, the Lodestone World Status page shows that the existing worlds in the Dynamis Data Center–Halicarnassus, Maduin, Marilith, and Seraphare–are still “New” even after being launched in late 2022. With four brand-new worlds being added to an already spacious data center, it becomes obvious where you should create or transfer your Warrior of Light if avoiding the Dawntrail crowds is a priority.

But if faster login queues aren’t enough incentive to tear you away from your current homeworld, the Final Fantasy XIV team is further sweetening the pot. Character creation and transfer bonuses are available for players who decide to start their Dawntrail adventure in one of the new worlds.

Here’s a breakdown of the new world incentives explained in The Lodestone.
