It’s golem-hunting time! The “Breaking Brick Mountains” Dragon Quest X crossover returns to Final Fantasy XIV before the July 2 launch of Dawntrail. The event rewards are also back, including the King Slime Crown, and you'll have until today through June 20 to complete the questline.
A new form of golem comprised of ultra-rare minerals never before seen in Eorzea has emerged, catalyzing the next Mad Mythril Rush! Amajina & Sons and other businesses from all over are hurrying to claim their share of riches and your Warrior of Light is brought on to help out.
Head to Ul’dah to speak with Havak Alvak (X:12.1, Y:8.2) to find out where these exotic golems can be found. Players will then participate in event FATEs scattered throughout the regions of La Noscea and the Central and North Shroud to complete the questline. If you’ve completed this event in previous runs, you can replay it using Final Fantasy XIV’s replay feature–albeit you won’t get more rewards for completing it again. And if you started it but didn’t finish, you can continue right where you left off.
In addition to claiming the King Slime Crown, players can earn the Brickman minion and the Thug’s Mug pictured in the announcement posted on X (formerly Twitter).
