The Final Fantasy XIV Growing Light 6.51 update is live, and while it lacks any PvE job balancing, it’s got some sweet new content players can dive into if that bucket of Halloween candy isn’t enough.
Most notably, 6.51 begins the Fall Guys collaboration in the Gold Saucer. This is a limited-time event featuring Fall Guys-style battle royal obstacle courses in a mode called Blunderville.
Take on 24 other players over three stages to be the last one standing. The longer you last, the more Manderville Gold Saucer Fame (MGF) you earn that can be exchanged for exclusive event items. Reach the final stage crown first and reap the biggest rewards!
Speak to Lewena in the Gold Saucer with a character level 15 or higher to unlock the Blunderville madness.
In the world of Final Fantasy XIV PvP, the latest update also includes the brand-new Crystalline Conflict map, Red Sands. This desert-themed map is filled with new environmental elements and hazards, including heat waves that damage all players over time, an oasis that heals over time, and sand nests that spawn random monsters that will either help or hinder you. While mitigating the troublesome hazards, dominating a match will also require players to use these map quirks to their advantage. More details about the new map can be found in the full 6.51 patch notes.
Opening the patch notes will also get you details on the new variant dungeon, Aloalo Island, and the new criterion dungeon, Another Aloala Island.
