Welcome to Final Fantasy Info.com

This site is dedicated to the great RPG series Final Fantasy and the staff is dedicated to making this the best online resource for Final Fantasy information. We invite you to browse around and check out all that we have to offer, since there are so many games in this series we have decided to split the games into individual categories. The staff at Final Fantasy Info.com considers any Final Fantasy game that was made before Final Fantasy X as a classic game, Final Fantasy X and any new Final Fantasy games are considered modern games, other games do have their own sub series like Final Fantasy VII and Kingdom hears. Games that have their own sub series have their own categories.

We Have Job Openings

With the rebuild of the site completed I am looking for some dedicated Final Fantasy fans to help me out with filling the site with information on the games. I have some job openings available and would like to invite anyone to come join the Final Fantasy Info.com family. So if you are a Final Fantasy fan and would like to help check out the job openings page and if you feel you fit an open position please contact me. Thank you

Friday night update for the week ending July 23, 2010

Posted by: Eagle_f90 on 7/23/2010 8:41:00 PM

Well since last Friday I have been able to add the last of the game sections as well as correct the width of the pop out menu for the navigation section so the game names appear on one line for each game. With the game sections finally added it now becomes time to start playing though the games and adding information to the site. For now I think I will be adding information for the original Final Fantasy, I got it on the Wii Virtual console a few months ago and ever since then I have been eager to play. I am also working on a fan creations submissions form which I should have up in a week or so for everyone who wants to make some fan stuff and submit it to the site. While I gather game information from Final Fantasy I will also be adding some fan creations to the site.

New FF game announced, FFXIII gets a drama cd!

Posted by: Eagle_f90 on 7/22/2010 7:36:13 PM

Yesterday word from V Jump got out that the team behind Final Fantasy IV: The After Years is back at it again but this time in an all original game for mobile phones named Final Fantasy Legends: Hikari to Yami no Senshi or Final Fantasy Legends: Warriors of Light and Darkness. The new Legends game will feature 2D sprites and featuer many of the classic Final Fantasy elements like the sotry surrounding crystals, light and darkness, and character growth in the job change system. So far the game will only be released in Japan on the iMode system in September and then later in the Winter for the EZweb system on Japanese cell phones. The prologue of the game is going to be free with subsequent chapters running from 315 to 525 yen. No word if the game will be brought to the US but since it is for mobile phones I would not count on it.   If you ahve played Final Fantasy XIII you might have noticed not all the story was there, well that is fixed now.Final Fantasy XIII: Episode Zero is a prologue to Final Fantasy XIII that you can read on the offical Final Fantasy XIII Japanese website, but if you to busy to read ityou can buy the drama CD Final Fantasy XIII Episode Zero Promise Fabula Nova Dramatica Alpha. This is an audio version of the prologue book that features the games voice acting staff and includes an exclusive bonus story. The dram CD will be out in Japan on September 15 costing 3,000 yen. And yes, it is only in Japanese no English version at this time.

The weekly update, 7/16/10

Posted by: Eagle_f90 on 7/16/2010 8:36:25 PM

Over the past week I have been able to get almost all the remaining game sections up  and I did an upgrade to the community forums that fixed some bugs and security holes. I am missing only a dozen games left, add the games has shown me the pop-out menus are to small so I will be playing with that to fix it this week also. Once the last of the game sections are added I will start working on adding information for the games, but since it is only me working on the site right now information will be coming in a bit slowly but it will come in as fast as I can get it.

The weekly update.

Posted by: Eagle_f90 on 7/9/2010 7:21:54 PM

From this week on I want to start doing a posting every Friday night to give a recap on what has been done to the site over the past week. This week I have gotten a lot of Game sections added, a total of 39 in fact. The games that where added fall into the Classics, Modern, Chocobo, and Books categories. There are about 110 total games to add and over the next week I hope to get the remaining 70 or so games added. I know that this seams like very little got done but right now it is just me working on the site and updates only get done between work and school. Hopefully some other Final Fantasy fans will volunteer to help out and the site will explode with information until then I will do my best to get information up.
