The Kinoshita Group presents New Final Fantasy X Kabuki, a live-action stage adaptation of the story of Final Fantasy X. This adaptation was created by a collaboration between Square Enix and the Tokyo Broadcasting System in 2023.

The adaptation was initially announced in 2022 to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Final Fantasy franchise. The debut run premiered from March 4th through April 12th, 2023. The play was held at the IHI Stage Around Tokyo Theater in Toyosu. This theater opened in 2017 and was the first immersive theater to be built in Asia.

Kikunosuke Oneo V and Kahori Kanaya directed Final Fantasy X Kabuki. Japanese TV drama writer Hiroyuki Yatsu developed the screenplay for the adaptation. A complete cast list for the play can be found here.

Final Fantasy X Kabuki is marketed as a full-day play interrupted by short breaks and intermissions. Guests can also choose to watch half of the play over two days. Following the premiere, the play was made available to stream via Rakuten TV and U-Next in Japan. It was later made available to stream globally by EPlus.
