With the world of Final Fantasy being so big it is impossible for one person to cover it all by themselves. So as the owner of Final Fantasy Info.com I am looking for people to join me in building a perfect team of Final Fantasy fans to help me run this site. Open positions are limited based on the amount of current staff members and how over burdened we are. Each job opening has it's description and requirements posted for it, beyond the requirements of the job we respectfully ask that all applicants do not work or operate any Final Fantasy related web site while working for Final Fantasy Info.com
Since Final Fantasy Info.com is paid for by the donations of visitors and the supporting banners on the site all job positions are strictly voluntary, if the site does make a profit during any given month that profit will be split equally between all staff members.
Open Positions
News Master (1 needed)
The news master is responsible for getting the latest information about the Final Fantasy world and relays it to our visitors. To do this job you will need to be good at digging up information off the web and stay up to date on things like gaming conventions (E3, Tokyo Game Show) and then take that information and relay it in a fun and exciting manner WITH OUT copying the original post (I.E. no plagiarizing). While you do not need to know Japanese it would help so you can get the latest information from Japan, but good spelling and grammar is a must.
Image Master (1 needed)
The image master is responsible for creating all the custom images the site needs and manipulate existing images. A good candidate will be experienced in a program like Adobe Photoshop and be a creative person.
Game Content Gather (Lots needed)
A game content gather will be responsible for gathering and verifying information from games in the Final Fantasy world. Since we pride our selves on not copying information from other sites a game content gather will need to play though a game and personally getting the information from the game themselves. A game content gather must have good spelling and grammar, although you don't need a lot of Final Fantasy games the more you have the better for the site.
Final Fantasy XI Information Gather (Lots needed)
The Final Fantasy XI information gather will be responsible for gathering the various information need from Final Fantasy XI which would include walkthroughs on quests, events, and missions as well as getting and verifying information on items and recipes. It does not matter which server you play on but you must have good spelling and grammar.
Fan Content Supervisor (1 needed)
The fan content supervisor will be responsible for checking all the incoming fan creations to make sure it is appropriate for the site and not stolen from somewhere else, you would also be responsible for getting the official downloads for games from Square-Enix. Once the content has been gathered and approved you will also be responsible for putting on the site so our visitors can enjoy it.
Translator, Japanese (1 needed)
Since the Final Fantasy games are originally from Japan then ported to other parts of the world I want to take Final Fantasy Info.com international, to do this we need someone fluent in both English and Japanese to translate all the content on the English site for posting to the Japanese site. Please only apply if you are fluent in both English and Japanese.
