Final Fantasy: Lost Order is an 30 minute Anime style, not 3D like Advent Children, that only came out in the Japanese Final Fantasy VII: Advent Pieces box set and on Disc 2 of the American Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Limited Edition Box set. Lost Order explains a lot of what happens before the original Final Fantasy VII for the PlayStation, and explains a lot of the flash backs seen in the game and in the Advent Children movie. Although a bit short the movie is very well done and if you really want to go though the Final Fantasy VII story it is perfect to watch before moving on to playing though the PlayStation game. Even if you have seen Advent Children already I highly recommend watching this movie as it will put so many things into place.
